Sells 48 per cent of Government ownership in Nordea Bank

The Government of Sweden has completed the sale of 260 million shares of Nordea Bank AB through an accelerated auction process aimed at Swedish and international institutional investors. The sale represents approximately 48 per cent of total government ownership in the company and reduces the state’s holding in Nordea from the previous 13.4 per cent to 7 per cent.
