Introduction of foreign-exchange controls

13 Mar 2015

On 13 March 2015 the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT, the central bank) introduced foreign-exchange controls. However, businesses that are deemed essential—for example, those involved in the fuel and food sectors, will be given access to foreign currency.
