Imposes restrictions on foreign investment of insurance companies

The Government ordered insurance companies to repatriate all of their investments abroad before of the end of year 2011. Only under exceptional circumstances could certain types of investments be authorized to remain abroad, and in any case these should not exceed 50 percent of total assets of any individual firm.
