20 Jul 2016

On 20 July 2016, the Parliament amended the “Privatization and Post-Privatization Control Act” to include three defense suppliers (Kintex, VMZ Sopot and NITI) on the list of state-owned enterprises not subject to privatization. The Government has written in its reasoning for the bill that defense product exporter Kintex and ordnance manufacturer VMZ Sopot are of structural significance for the national defense industry and constitute an important element of the nation’s security, economy and presence in strategic markets.
