Amends rules on the acquisition of agricultural land

On 1 July 2017, an amendment of the rules on the acquisition of agricultural land came into effect. The change increases the exigence of Latvian language command of foreigners that wish to acquire agricultural land in Latvia to "B2" level (Art. 28 Law on the privatization of land in rural areas).
