Further opens air transport businesses

On 18 November 2019, the Viet Nam government issued a decree to change air transport business requirements with a view to creating favorable conditions for new enterprises. Under Government Decree 89/2019/ND-CP, foreign-invested airlines will be subject to a foreign ownership cap of 34 percent, higher than the current 30 percent. The decree will come into effect on 1 January 2020.
