Government launches tender to privatize stake in telecommunications company

The Instituto de Gestão de Activos e Participações do Estado, (IGAPE), the state entity responsible for implementing the 2019-2022 Privatisation Programme, began on 28 May 2021 the Limited Tender by Prior Qualification for the privatization of the stake held in the commercial company Net One. National and international investors, duly qualified, can participate in the contest. Angola issued a Presidential Dispatch No. 186/20 of 29 December 2020 (Effective from 30 December 2020), which authorises the privatization, through a Limited Tender by Prior Qualification, of 51% of the capital held by MS –TELCOM in NET ONE -Telecomunicações, S.A.
