Finance Act 2022 reduces the income tax rate for mineral and petroleum operations

On 11 January 2022, the President of Sierra Leone assented to the Finance Act 2022. The Act, which came into effect on 1 January 2022, inter alia reduced the income tax rate for mineral and petroleum operations from 30% to 25% thereby adjusting the rate to match the standard corporate tax rate.
