Liquidates two banks controlled by the Russian Federation

On 25 February 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine revoked the licenses of two banks controlled by the Russian banks Sberbank and VEB and liquidated their assets. It also banned the country’s banks from making any foreign exchange transactions using Russian and Belarusian rubles.
