Appoints a Ministerial Committee to promote FDI

On 21 Mar 2022, the Government of Sri Lanka appointed a Ministerial Committee to focus on the promotion of foreign direct investment and to encourage local investment for economic growth.
The 12-member Ministerial Committee on Investment Promotion will assist and appoint a committee of officials headed by the Secretary to the President to make relevant recommendations.
