Digitalizes the registration procedure of the representative offices of foreign companies

On 4 August 2022, the Government of Romania adopted the Ordinance No.18 that simplified and digitalized the process of authorization and functioning of the representative offices of foreign companies in Romania. Following the changes, the registration procedure and the issuance of representative offices' permits will be undertaken via a digital platform.
The ordinance No.18 came into force on 7 August 2022.
