UNCTAD led the substantive backstopping of the international organizations to the preparation for the G20 Policy Toolkit on Born Green via Digital MSMEs, under the Italian Presidency. This short paper elaborates on the conceptual framework and core steps in its development. It is meant to shed light, from an insider’s perspective, on its relevance in guiding future policy initiatives in the area of entrepreneurship and MSMEs development by G20 and non G20 economies.
