More than ten years after the publication of the IPR, Botswana has maintained its reputation as a development success story. Major reforms have been undertaken in line with the IPR recommendations, including the establishment of a well-functioning competition authority and of a fully-fledged investment promotion agency. Yet, entrepreneurship development initiatives and institutions need increased coordination and focus.
