The Promulgation of Law N° 14/022 of 7 July 2014 sets up a system of special economic zones in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It has as its objectives the provision of incentives, a conducive business environment, as well as a transparent and coherent framework in order to encourage domestic and foreign private investment that will generate growth and employment and increase competition.
