Adopts national sanctions list affecting Russian entities in gas, coal, IT, and manufacturing sectors

On 26 April 2022, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration announced sanctions against the Russian Federation and Belarus, affecting 50 individuals and entities that do business in Poland. These measures are supplementary to the measures adopted at the EU level. The list includes Gazprom and the gas-related Novatek, PhosAgro - a Russian fertilizer tycoon, the Kaspersky Group, KAMAZ, SEVERSTAL, WILDBERRIES and GO SPORT, but also the entities that imported Russian coal and coal from the Donbas region to Poland. The sanctioned entities are subject to the following measures: - Freeze of all funds and economic resources; - Ban on provision of funds or economic resources, directly or indirectly, to the entity; - Disqualification from public procurement proceedings.
