Launches support programme on digital transformation investment

On 26 July 2024, Türkiye issued the Digital Transformation Support Programme Implementation Communiqué, which establishes the implementation procedures and principles of the Digital Transformation Support Programme in the Official Gazette. Under this regulation, companies investing a minimum of TL30 million (approximately $740,000) in digital transformation projects that aim to improve business processes by using the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, robotics and other digital technologies may be recognized as eligible for support under the Programme.

For such projects, the incentives defined in article 17 of the Council of Ministers Decree No. 2012/3305 dated 15 June 2012 on State Aid for Investments will be provided. These supports include customs duty exemption, value-added tax exemption, corporate income tax reduction, and financial cost support. This regulation entered into force upon publication.
