Updates the Critical and Emerging Technologies List

12 Feb 2024

On 12 February 2024, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy released the update to the Critical and Emerging Technologies (CET) List. The list contains technologies considered potentially significant to United States national security. Although inclusion on the list does not necessarily result in regulatory protections or obligations, "this updated CET list may inform government-wide and agency-specific efforts concerning United States technological competitiveness and national security".

The list expands upon that original CET list and the February 2022 update by identifying subfields for each CET.
