Ownership of local subsidiary Windstream Wolfe Island Shoals Inc. (WWIS), which had entered a power purchase agreement under the Ontario Power Authority’s feed-in-tariff programme to develop an offshore wind generation facility in Ontario.
Claims arising out of Ontario Government’s alleged failure to prevent the electricity operator IESO from terminating the feed-in-tariff contract with the claimant’s subsidiary WWIS in 2020, following Ontario Government’s prior moratorium on offshore wind farms that was the subject of the Windstream I arbitration.
